Many moons ago, Second Saturdays of each month were celebrated with a "gallery walk"...an evening opportunity for art lovers to stroll Main Street in Downtown Hannibal and enjoy fine art and fine craft from regional makers. The "gallery walk" concept dwindled over time and while the Alliance Art Gallery has maintained our Second Saturday Gallery Nights, we missed the charm of strolling up and down Main, meeting artists, and seeing their most recent work. Well...we're bringing it back! Each second Saturday in June, July and August, a group of businesses and organizations in Historic Downtown Hannibal are collaborating to bring you Art Walk! We are still organizing and planning but mark you calendars for the evenings of June 14, July 12, and August 9. Stay tuned for more details!

On the June 14 Art Walk the Alliance Art Gallery will be opening an exhibit of work by Preston Jackson, an renown artist from Peoria. This exhibit has been faciliated by Jim's Journey: The Huck Finn Freedom Center in celebration of Juneteenth.

We are also featuring the work of Adriana Brown and her collaboration with Veronica Sandercock.
